Dashboard user guide

Saved scripts and schedules

Save and test database scripts, run them on an hourly, daily, or weekly schedule, and inspect the latest execution status.

Create and test a saved script

  1. Select the organization and database, then open Queries and the Script Editor.
  2. Create or open a script, give it a meaningful name and category, and save it. You can use the AI Query Assistant to draft or revise the code.
  3. Run the script interactively and inspect its results and console output. Verify the intended database and any writes before scheduling it.

The scheduler selects saved Script Editor scripts. Save changes before scheduling; an unsaved editor draft is not the scheduled script.

Schedule recurring execution

  1. Open Manage Database → Scheduling for the selected database.
  2. Choose a Saved script and an hourly, daily, or weekly Frequency.
  3. For hourly execution, choose the minute past the hour. For daily execution, choose a time; for weekly execution, also choose the day.
  4. Choose the Timezone, check Enable this schedule when ready, and save the schedule.

The selected timezone controls the schedule. Review it when coordinating with users or systems in another timezone. If the script list is empty, save a script for this database first.

Inspect, edit, and pause schedules

The schedule list shows its cadence, enabled or paused state, latest run status, last start time, and the latest error when a run fails. Use Edit to change the script or timing, and the pause/enable control to stop or resume future runs. Delete a schedule when it is no longer needed.

Recurring work continues with the browser closed. Pausing or deleting its schedule should not be treated as undoing writes from a previous run. Inspect failures and correct the saved script or its access before enabling it again.

Permissions and research-created schedules

Managing schedules requires database maintainer access. Execution remains subject to the configured database permissions. When asking Agent Research to set up recurring work, grant script scheduling, script execution, and data mutation permissions. Script creation requires its own grant.

A schedule created by research remains enabled after the research task ends or is canceled. Manage it in Manage Database → Scheduling. Design recurring writes so another execution does not duplicate the intended effect.
